Congratulations to the Gross Family for winning four tickets to see the Gamecocks Game in Charlotte!

Every time you refer a new student to CAA or LSM, we will gift you AND your friend with your choice of a Target Gift Card, Amazon Gift Card, or Movie Passes. PLUS! You will both be entered into a raffle for more great prizes! More referrals mean more chances to win!

Do You Want to Earn $1000? We're serious!

Dear students,

I’d like to thank you once again for allowing us to be your music school provider. We really appreciate the opportunity to work with you each week and look forward to helping you accomplish your musical goals!

Since we use the Musical Ladder System® in our school we are participating in an international contest along with all of the other almost 100 schools in the US, Canada and Australia that use the system.

You could win $1,000!! If you win, the Musical Ladder® parent company will also give us $5,000 to improve the school. It’s a win-win and a BIG deal!

HOW TO ENTER - It’s easy!

Anytime (the sooner the better) before November 30th (and the voting starts NOW!) make a video of yourself:
1. Talk about how music is important to you and why.
2. Talk about your experience at our school.
3. Talk about how you’ve been climbing the Musical Ladder® and what you think of the wristbands, trophy, system, etc
4. Sing or play an ‘original’ or ‘public domain’ song (this step is OPTIONAL). *Please do not upload or perform songs that you do not own the copyright too. Any entries with copywritten material will be removed and entry will be disqualified.
5. Upload the song to YouTube and notify the office.
6. Encourage your friends to VIEW your video! Spread the word and get as MANY views as you can before 11/30/17!!

We have our first entry! Meet Maggie and her song "Nature"

Celebrating Student Achievement • The Musical Ladder System®

The Columbia Arts Academy and Lexington School of Music are the only music schools in the Midlands that gives their students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies AND certificates for passing musical tests with the Musical Ladder System®. It was actually created by academy Director Marty Fort, has a patent pending and is being used by schools nationwide. Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces by giving them full color, really cool “Musical Ladder System®” wristbands that they can show off to their friends.

More importantly when our students have a test coming up, they practice more, their parents are proud, their teachers are proud, and everybody wins!

If you are interested in licensing the Musical Ladder System® for your music school, please send an email info@columbiaartsacademy.com ATTN Marty Fort.
