Happy July, Academy Families!
Our 2025 Summer Recitals were a huge success! Big congratulations to all the students who performed—you crushed it. And thank you to everyone who came out to support our incredibly talented students. Check out some of the photos below:
We can’t wait to see your progress at our 2026 Winter Recitals, happening over two weekends: Friday, January 9th to Sunday, January 11th and Friday, January 16th to Sunday, January 18th. We’re planning to hold the performances at the W.W. Hootie Johnson Performance Hall, but if there’s a conflict, we have the same dates on hold at the Koger Center.
Recital sign-ups open in October, and the schedule will be released mid-November. Be sure to mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details soon: www.columbiaartsacademy.com/recitals
The Lexington School of Music is ready to help you ROCK IT for back to school! Musical Ladder System® Achievements!
The Columbia Arts Academy, Lexington School of Music, and Irmo Music Academy are the only Midlands music schools where students earn colorful wristbands, trophies, and certificates through the patented Musical Ladder System®, created by Academy Director Marty Fort and used nationwide. Some schools offer trophies and certificates, but none excite students like the Musical Ladder System® wristbands they proudly show off to friends.
